Saturday 15 March 2025 at 6.00 pm, Rosso20sette arte contemporanea presents The(Street) Art of Peace curated and with a text by Giorgio Silvestrelli: 12 international street artists on display, some of the most important names in the world of street art, from the historic American artists Swoon, Ron English and Shepard Fairey, to the first Afghan street artist Shamsia Hassani, known for her works on the walls of Kabul portraying Afghan women and their requests for freedom. On display is a small work by Banksy that tells the story of the Gaza drama; some works on wood portraying the peace flags of the South African street artist Faith 47; a work on canvas by the well-known German street artist Hera of Herakut, a recent work put on the street by the faceless artist Laika, up to the Spanish Lula Goce, the Syrian Dina Saadi, Dot Dot Dot and the Danish Balstroem. All the works exhibited will be accompanied by a text on peace written directly by the artists.
